Day to the Garden 2026

New York, NY March 22, 2026 - This year’s Knicks game included the Bassick High School Men’s basketball team, Kolbe Cathedral Men’s Basketball Team, and the University of Bridgeport Men’s Basketball team. The students were provided with snacks and water to the game along with $15 vouchers paired with their game tickets to help reduce the price of food, drinks, and snacks just like years past.

This year, the Knicks were taking on the Washington Wizards. Where they recently acquired Anthony Davis and Trey Young, but they were out sidelined with injuries. The students noticed them on the sidelines cheering on the rest of their team. The students did point them out as they were on the sidelines. Washington did have the worst record in the NBA for the 2026 season. The game was a blowout since the first quarter, but the crowd was still electric. Although Trey Young is now with the Wizards and not playing in the game. The fans at the Garden started their notorious vulgar chant towards Trey which was started because Trey would drop a lot of points on the Knicks and the Hawks would eliminate the Knicks out of the playoffs, a few years back.

With the Knicks being up big, the Knicks had their bench on the floor. Tyler Kolek checked in for the last 5 minutes of the game. Kolek had 11 points and was drilling threes. By the way he was playing, you might’ve thought he was an actual, Wizard…
