Black History Month Celebration 2025

WHITE PLAINS, NY - Hello all! We’re back for this year’s Black History Month event. This year the students of Bassick had VIP tickets to the Westchester Knicks game as they’re back in White Plains, NY this season since Covid. The event started off with a buffet style food for the foundation. After dinner, the game started as the Westchester Knicks faced off against the 905 Raptors (Toronto Raptors G League Affiliated). The game was exciting, the kids were excited and Ms. Tee grabbed a Tee.. from the Tee shirt throwing contest! At the end of the game the students were able to have a quick meet and greet and take pictures with New York Knicks legends John Starks and Larry Johnson! After the meet and greet, Charlie Brown Jr from the 905 Raptors came out the locker room to sign autographs with fans, the students were ecstatic to get an autograph and surrounded him!
